CONTINUA proudly hosted World Design Day 2026 alongside Tristan du Plessis Studio at CONTINUA’s Paarden Eiland showroom in Cape Town, welcoming members of the design and architectural community for a day centred around creativity, collaboration and innovation.

Set within the contemporary surrounds of the showroom, the event created an inspiring platform for architects, designers and industry professionals to connect and engage in meaningful conversations. The space itself served as the ideal backdrop, reflecting CONTINUA’s dedication to precision craftsmanship, premium materials and advanced manufacturing excellence.

The event celebrated the globally recognised work and design philosophy of Tristan du Plessis Studio, whose immersive and sophisticated approach to interiors continues to challenge conventional design boundaries. A key focus of the day was giving the Tristan du Plessis Studio team an in-depth look into CONTINUA’s extensive product offering, specialised manufacturing processes and intricate service capabilities. The experience extended beyond the showroom floor, with guests stepping into CONTINUA’s on-site factory for hands-on practical demonstrations, undoubtedly one of the highlights of the day. From material handling to production techniques, the demonstrations offered valuable insight into the craftsmanship and technical precision behind each project.
